The Pousada Porto – Rua das Flores is located on Rua das Flores, a pedestrianised street, where you can find shops selling handcrafted goods and the products of upcoming designers, restaurants and cafés, or watch street performers and admire works of art. This is one of the most photographed streets in the city and is just a short walk from the city’s main attractions.
The Pousada Porto – Rua das Flores is located in one of these buildings; it being a converted historic building. Restoration works preserved the features of the original 18th century building, so you can now admire its vaulted ceilings and prominent stonework. As a tribute to the street’s name (“flores” means “flowers” in Portuguese), details from a variety of flowers form part of the decor. With 84 fully furnished and decorated rooms to ensure a comfortable stay, their neutral colours and wooden panels lend this space an even more welcoming atmosphere.
To start the day well, we serve a delicious “Pousada Breakfast”, that highlights the quality and freshness of the ingredients and offers a variety of typical Portuguese delicacies, in this case from the north of the country. The environment of this space extends to the courtyard, a small oasis of calm, in contrast to the frenzy of Rua das Flores.
The P Gastro Bar extends the concept to providing snacks during the day and has a menu with a variety of drinks, where port wine is a must.
Pousada Porto – Rua das Flores also has an indoor swimming pool (26 degrees) sauna and a meeting room.
