The Pousada Ria is located in Torreira, near the city of Aveiro on a peninsula that acts as a barrier between the Atlantic Ocean and the Aveiro Lagoon.
Peaceful and charming
It is a 15-minute drive from the town of São Jacinto and 43 km from the city of Aveiro. This building from the 60s is built on pillars above the water, and affords an up-close and special connection with nature.
During your stay, you can swim in the fantastic outdoor swimming pool or relax in the privacy of a small private beach. For your meals, the hotel offers a restaurant and a bar. The rooms are modern and decorated in warm, bright tones, and have a balcony with views of the gardens or the lagoon.
The Pousada Ria has free bicycles at your disposal, which are typical in the area, for discovering the village, and you can leave your vehicle free of charge in the Pousada's car park.

The Búzios restaurant offers views of the Ria de Aveiro and a memorable dining experience, highlighting the region's traditional dishes.
With a focus on fish and shellfish, the menu includes appetizers, such as cockle pies, and main courses, such as eel stew and cod loin. There are also international and vegetarian options.
For dessert, try typical sweets such as pão de ló from Ovar and ovos moles from Aveiro. Finish off perfectly with a glass of Port wine.
