With 11 rooms in the Castle itself (three of them in the castle keep) and another 8 rooms located in the Casa do Castelo, the Pousada offers various accommodation options. The medieval theme can be seen throughout the whole building, especially on the thick stone walls and four-poster beds of the Castelo Suite. Some of the more spacious Casa rooms have an inviting fireplace and historical features such as vaulted ceiling, wood panelling, tile-lined walls and ogival doors.

The 700-year history of the building does not take away from its modern comfort and connection to the world. The QR Codes on the doors allow you to learn more about the kings and queens who gave the rooms their names. You’ll also be provided with a dressing gown, minibar, air conditioning, stylish bathrooms and free Wi-Fi.
