When you arrive at Pousada de Arraiolos and enter your room, you will start your visit to the restaurant. You will find two presentations: one of the Pousada and another of the typical dishes that you can taste in the restaurant. Even if you have just finished a meal, it is impossible not to be inspired by the petingas in pickled red onion sauce or the broad bean stew with sausages. Black pork cheeks in red wine with asparagus migas are also very typical of this region and will be a great option for your meal.

In winter, be sure to taste a comforting and typical tomato soup with poached egg and in summer always have the fresh gazpacho with the same ingredient. Alentejo soups are simple, often replicating the lunch that men brought to work in the countryside. Work is something that will be far from your mind when tasting the typical Arraiolos candy, the intense Pastel de Toucinho, with unparalleled taste and texture. Unmissable.

Please note that the restaurant is closed until December. On closed days, please opt for the Bar where light meals will be served.
